The two sisters surprise the entire jury in the Dragons’ Den panel — this new capsule melts away excess fat like never before!

Never before had all five Dragons independently chosen to put money into one and the same product.

Revive in the Den

“We have done what everyone said was impossible.” That is how two sisters from Bristol opened their pitch in the Den — and by the end of it the whole panel had stopped taking notes. What Imogen and Sophie Radcliffe put in front of the Dragons that night is now being called “THE MOST DISRUPTIVE BREAKTHROUGH IN WEIGHT LOSS HISTORY.”

DIETITIANS ARE STUNNED. FITNESS COACHES ARE FURIOUS.

Imogen and Sophie Radcliffe presenting Revive in the Den

Shedding over 2 stone in 14 days without flogging yourself at the gym, without punishing meal plans, and without waiting a year on the NHS list for weight-loss jabs used to sound like a pipe dream.

That was the claim the Radcliffe sisters made in front of the panel. Then they handed over the trial photographs, and the room stopped talking.

Since the episode aired, three professional bodies have called for an “urgent review”, questioning how a simple botanical capsule could deliver results rivalling surgery that costs anywhere from £7,000 to £17,000.

Who the Radcliffe sisters are

Imogen Radcliffe spent eleven years in pharmaceutical formulation. Her younger sister Sophie is a nutritional biochemist.

Imogen and Sophie Radcliffe

They started the work in a rented lab unit outside Bristol, for a reason that had nothing to do with business.

“Mum came off the injections after four months. She could not eat, she could not work, and she put every pound back on within the year. We started this because we watched that happen at our own kitchen table.”

— Imogen Radcliffe

Four years of development followed. Dozens of active botanicals. A team of nutrition scientists working under confidentiality agreements.

The result is a one-a-day capsule built to flip on the body’s natural “metabolic switch” — triggering fat-burning even while you are sat on the sofa with a cup of tea.

The night the Den went quiet

The Dragons hearing the Revive pitch

The sisters came in asking for £90,000 for 5% of the business — a modest, almost apologetic ask by Den standards. Then they handed round the fourteen-day trial photographs.

“Most fat-burners are destroyed by stomach acid before they ever reach the bloodstream,” Imogen told the panel. “We stopped trying to fight the gut and built a capsule that works with it.”

What followed has never happened in the programme’s twenty-year run: all five Dragons made a joint offer — £400,000 for 20%, split equally between them, the largest single investment in the show’s history. The sisters took it on the spot.

Deborah Meaden reacting to the Revive pitch

“I have turned down every diet product that has ever walked through that door — every single one. This is the first time I have looked at the trial data and thought: I cannot find the catch. If these two are right, the injection industry has a very serious problem.”

— Deborah Meaden, in the Den

Since the episode aired, the Dragons have helped the sisters rebrand the product and expand production nine-fold. It still keeps selling out.

What actually convinced the panel

It was not the photographs. Deborah Meaden asked for the follow-up data twice before she made her offer.

The sisters had run two trials. The first, out of two clinics in Bristol and Leeds, followed 200 women aged 38 to 64 — most of them post-menopausal, all of them people for whom dieting had stopped working years earlier.

A second, larger group of 1,300 participants was tracked over twelve weeks to check that the weight stayed off and that nothing else moved in the wrong direction.

The sisters presenting Revive to the panel

“Anything can look good at fourteen days. We were far more interested in what the twelve-week bloodwork said. That is the number the whole category quietly avoids.”

— Sophie Radcliffe

Across both groups the headline figures were consistent: an average of 1½ to 2½ stone lost, no reported deterioration in bloodwork or skin condition, and no rebound in the follow-up window.

One of the women from the trial agreed to let us publish her account. It is printed here as she wrote it.

“That one photo broke me — Revive gave me my life back”

Six months ago my confidence hit rock bottom. The photographer hesitated before putting me next to my daughter — and then said it out loud, in front of everyone: “Would you mind standing at the back? The extra weight doesn’t photograph well.”

The entire wedding party fell dead silent. My daughter took my hand and said it quietly, but loudly enough that everyone heard: “Mum sits right next to me. End of.”

He apologised. The damage was done. I spent the rest of my own daughter’s wedding ducking every camera and crying in the toilets, and I missed the first dance.

After that I stopped looking in mirrors altogether. I hated what looked back at me — a bloated, knackered woman with a double chin and a stomach no clothes could hide.

Years of twelve-hour shifts on a hospital ward, then caring for my mother through her dementia. A Costa and a pastry on the way in because there was no time for breakfast. A Tesco meal deal at the desk. A Deliveroo or a frozen pizza at ten at night because I was too shattered to cook, and then half a packet of Hobnobs in front of the telly. And on top of all of it, perimenopause hit like a freight train — the hot flushes, the brain fog, the weight creeping on no matter what I did. Every January I joined Slimming World again. Every March I gave up.

I went to my GP first. Three weeks’ wait just for a routine appointment, and what I came out with was “it’s your age” and “try cutting calories and moving a bit more.” Thank you. As if I hadn’t been trying exactly that for twenty years. She did refer me to a weight management clinic, but the NHS list was over a year, and going private the first consultation alone was £180 — before a single test.

I asked about Wegovy. Not available to me on the NHS, she said, and privately it runs £200–300 a month, for as long as you keep injecting. Ozempic? Diabetes only — she couldn’t prescribe it for weight.

Three cosmetic clinics quoted me: liposuction, a tummy tuck and work on my chin — around £10,500 all in, with six weeks of painful recovery. The NHS covers none of it, and even medically justified surgery has years-long lists.

I came very close to saying yes and taking the loan. But as a single mother who had just paid for a wedding, with the mortgage going up at every review and no leave left at work, it was simply impossible.

I was on the verge of raiding my savings when my daughter’s chief bridesmaid rang. Her cousin works at a private clinic just off Harley Street, and she almost whispered it down the phone:

— I can get you something they’re trialling with their private clients. It isn’t in Boots or Superdrug yet and it won’t be for a while. Just give it a go…

“They call it liposuction in a box,” she said. “The before-and-after pictures are unbelievable — I’ve seen them.”

Honestly? I didn’t believe a word. After thirty years of shakes, pills and meal replacements that cost a fortune, I was done. But I thought: what have I got to lose, apart from the weight?

That night, around eleven, I took my first Revive capsule and went to bed — with no idea that everything was about to change.

The next morning I stumbled into the bathroom, put the light on, and let out a scream loud enough that my daughter came running from her room.

My body looked different. 2½lb down overnight. Water, I thought. A week later I was a stone down.

“Week one. The ‘hormone belly’ I’d carried since my forties was already visibly smaller — I kept lifting my top in front of the mirror to check I wasn’t imagining it.”

The fat on my sides — almost gone. The loose skin on my back and lower stomach had visibly tightened. I looked slimmer, my skin felt smoother — as if I’d shed years, not just pounds. I ran my hands along my waist and it was narrower, firmer, actually there.

My daughter walked in. She stopped dead. “Mum… WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!”

For the first time in years I looked at myself in the mirror and smiled.

On day fourteen I zipped up a dress I’d taken to the charity shop ten years ago — my daughter had quietly rescued it. The stomach that ruined every outfit was practically gone. My hips were smoother, my skin felt silky. The loose skin on my upper arms and waist had pulled in — like a body contouring treatment, without the pain or the five-figure bill. The pads of fat on my back I’d carried for twenty years? Gone.

“One month apart. On the left, me before. On the right, me — back in the dress I’d pushed to the back of the wardrobe ten years ago.”

After a fortnight I put it to the real test and got the train to my sister in Manchester. She knows every line on my face. She screamed. “Lydia, have you had surgery?!” She pulled me over to the mirror. “You look twenty years younger. Who did it?”

When I told her it was one capsule a day — the first one at bedtime, every one since with my morning coffee — she thought I was winding her up, until I showed her the box.

The change was dramatic enough that the Revive team asked whether they could share my story. These days, when I walk down Briggate with my 28-year-old daughter, people take us for sisters.

And the photographer who tried to hide me at that wedding? He took new portraits of me recently. Asked whether I’d had weight-loss surgery. I told him about Revive. He wrote the name down and ordered it that same evening — for his wife.

It isn’t only about looking slimmer. Revive gave me my confidence back. I feel like myself again. I feel like the Lydia I used to be — and for that I’m endlessly grateful.

THE SURGICAL-LEVEL SOLUTION THAT OUTPERFORMS £10,500 LIPOSUCTION

This breakthrough works in three ways — and traditional surgery simply cannot compete:

Up to 4lb of fat burned in the first 15 hours

Acts like an “internal lipolaser” — no needles, no recovery

Restores healthy hunger signals — fullness and control return

Dr. David O’Connor, a metabolism specialist with no commercial involvement in the brand, was asked to go through the Revive trial data independently. He explains why the numbers caught him off guard:

“I was brought in to pull this apart, and I expected to. Most products in this category fall over the moment you look at the follow-up data properly.

This one did not. Women losing 1½ to 2½ stone with no bootcamps, no crash diets and no surgery — and no deterioration in bloodwork, skin condition or general wellbeing at the twelve-week check.

I could not find the flaw, and I did look for it. On this evidence it does what they say it does.”

— Dr. David O’Connor, metabolism specialist, independent review

Why British women say it “just fits into real life”

Since Revive became available to the public, thousands of women have shared their before-and-after photos from all over the UK — from London to Manchester, from Birmingham to Glasgow:

Linda, 55, Nottingham: “My GP asked whether I’d had surgery. I’m 55, well past the menopause, and my body looks like it did in my thirties. Cheaper than a single month of those jabs everyone is banging on about. ♥”
Dawn, 49, Sheffield: “Lost almost a stone in my first week. Perimenopause had me raiding the biscuit tin every night after the ten o’clock news — that has stopped completely. My husband noticed before I did that I wasn’t demolishing the Hobnobs anymore.”

Supply has not caught up with the broadcast

The sisters told the panel they could make 40,000 packs a month. Within a fortnight of the episode airing they were taking orders for several times that.

Production has since been expanded nine-fold with the Dragons’ backing, and a second contract manufacturer came online this summer. Batches still clear within hours of a restock.

Sheila I was exactly the same, wouldn’t have bothered if my daughter hadn’t kept on at me. 6 weeks in now. I’m not going to call it a miracle but I’ve gone from a 20 to a 14 and not changed much else. Genuinely wasn’t expecting that.

Denise thanks for coming back to me, that’s reassuring. How long before you noticed anything at all?

About a fortnight for the bloating to go. The actual weight took longer. First thing I properly clocked was my rings going back on again x

Can somebody explain how it actually works though? I don’t really follow the science bit if I’m honest.

Patricia from what I can gather it’s more the metabolism side than the appetite. Mine basically went to sleep after the menopause. All I know is the weight round my middle has finally started shifting — 3 stone since the spring — and nothing touched it for years.

Or you could just eat less? Genuine question, not having a dig. I know it’s harder with little ones about, you end up finishing their leftovers, but we are adults.

Karen I’m on about 1200 calories a day and I walk everywhere and I haven’t shifted a pound in 8 months. It honestly isn’t always that simple after 50.

Questions readers have sent in

What exactly is Revive?

A one-a-day capsule containing a standardised botanical complex, 415 mg per capsule, sold as a food supplement. One pack holds 30 capsules — a month. It is not a medicine and not a form of semaglutide, the drug in Wegovy and Ozempic.

How do I take it?

One capsule daily with water — 30 capsules to a pack, so a pack lasts a month. Most participants in the trial took it in the evening. No diet or exercise programme is prescribed alongside it.

How long before anything happens?

Trial participants reported a change in appetite within the first week and a visible difference between weeks two and four. Results reported in the trial ranged from 1½ to 2½ stone.

Can it replace medical treatment?

No. If you are being treated for a weight-related condition, or you are on prescribed medication, speak to your GP before starting any supplement. Revive is not a substitute for medical advice.

Who should not take it?

It is not intended for anyone under 18, or for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Check the ingredient list if you have known allergies.

What happens if I stop?

The follow-up group was tracked for twelve weeks after finishing. No rebound was recorded in that window, which is the main difference the sisters claim over injectables.
